Bobbie Ann Powell
Bobbie Ann Powell is the president of The Golden Rule Customer Service, LLC. She firmly believes and practices the biblical principal of doing unto others as she would have them do unto her! People recognize her smile and loving personality immediately. She was named the Most Courteous in her senior class superlatives. It was years later when she recognized that God had positioned her awareness of being kind and gentle with all people to lead her in a customer service position at Michigan Bell Telephone Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan that spanned more than three decades. She applied for one job ~ a Directory Assistance Operator in 1973. This job led to multiple promotions throughout her career at Michigan Bell, Ameritech, South Western Bell (SBC) and finally AT&T. She retired from AT&T Michigan in 2007 as an Area Manager of 4 major call centers in the Detroit Metropolitan Area.
Bobbie is also the also the president of the Cascade Business and Merchants Association where the focus is on beautification, enhancing the growth and development of the businesses in the Cascade Corridor Area, and the unification between the merchants and residential communities. The signature initiative under her leadership is monthly learning and development sessions where various experts in their industries are identified as keynote speakers.
Bobbie Powell recently chaired the Mary Parker Foundation (MPF) Fifth Annual “Raising Other Generations” 2018 Scholarship Gala. A goal of $125,000.00 was not only met but exceeded. Twenty four students received scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $10,000. Since the inception of the MPF, she has assisted in securing scholarships for 68 young people, 20 of which have already graduated. Bobbie also spearheads the MPF Annual Back to School Bash. Under her leadership approximately 1500 students have received book bags filled with their necessary school supplies. The bash also offers an afternoon of fun including a carnival-like experience.
Bobbie Powell currently works as the Executive Administrative Assistant for the CEO of ALL N ONE Security, Mary Parker. Not only does she have the pleasure of serving the CEO, but Mary is also her sister. Working with her has been an exhilarating experience. After working in one industry prior to joining the ALL N ONE team, it has been revealed to Bobbie the many skillsets that she has obtained throughout her career. This has enabled her to reinvent herself. She knows the best is yet to come.
Bobbie Powell graduated from William Tyndale Bible College with a degree in Business Administration. She started her Master’s Degree in Organizational Behavior and Management. She has been married to Clarence Powell for more than 42 years. She has 2 children, Clarence and Ashley. A beautiful daughter in love, Tiffani Powell and 4 grandsons: Jeremiah, Elijah, Caleb and Dylan.
